Savonia University of Applied Sciences has been subjected to an information security attack on Friday 4.2.2022.

The extent of the attack and its effects on Savonia’s operations have been investigated over the weekend. A blackmail malware has been inserted into Savonia’s systems, resulting in files being locked. So far, we have no knowledge of any personal data having been compromised.

Teaching and RDI activities continue normally, but there may be some disruptions in some of Savonia’s systems.
