Courage and the ability to innovate
Savonia University of Applied Sciences is the driving force behind the vitality of its region. Savonia is quick to respond to skills needs from the world of work, for example by starting training in town planning in spring 2025. The strategy for 2025-2028 is based on a focus on the world-oriented training, internationality and overall security. Savonia works in close cooperation with businesses and also in developing the productivity of the welfare area. The European University Alliance offers us opportunities to develop Finnish education and strengthen research networks. Our activities create impact regionally, nationally and internationally.
-Our strengths are our ability to innovate and to deliver results, which will drive us forward towards our goal of being a responsible and effective university of applied sciences. I look forward to the opportunities for European cooperation in the EU4DUAL Alliance. By working together, we can support businesses in our region by bringing new knowledge, expertise, innovation and research to businesses,” says principal Mervi Vidgrén.
