Students from Savonia, the University of Eastern Finland and Savo Vocational College gathered at Kuopio Market to celebrate the first ever joint start of the academic year of Savilahti campuses.

The LoveZone event started in Savilahti, where a cavalcade of over a thousand students walked to Kuopio Square, where the Student Association Salkku, the Student Union of the University of Eastern Finland ISYY and the Student Union SAVOTTA opened the academic year. The hot afternoon culminated in a Sexmane gig. The charismatic performer and his band made the square shake with the power of partying.
