International partners and networks

International partnership collaboration at Savonia is based on either bilateral agreements or networking. Aim of these partnerships is to increase and strengthen the collaboration in order to enable student and teacher mobility as well as develop the R&D activities.

Networks

Savonia is a partner in a new EU4DUAL alliance. The European University Alliance, EU4DUAL, (European Dual Studies University), was selected by European Commission as one of the four new projects to develop the European Universities initiative. Savonia UAS is also a member of thematics networks of Human Security Europe, UArctic, CDIO and Florence. Savonia coordinates a FIRST+ network with its Russian partners and carries out Nordic-Baltic mobility activities within several Nordplus networks. The DigiCenter North Savo project coordinated by Savonia is also part of the EU’s Digital Innovation Hub network.
