| Description | The Project will be capacitating Asia's nursing students on innovative and sustainable prevention and control of healthcare-associated infections. Savonia´s main task in this proposed approach is to develop the most authentic and flexible learning methods and help in the implementation process of the methods in Asia region.
The Preparation WP (1) will start to ensure a smooth flow of the progress throughout the project, resulting in the first project outcome - the Quality Plan (O1). In Development of WP (2), the project will focus on the design of the PrevInf Model to facilitate the learning of HAIs prevention and control competences in nursing education. In Development of WP (3), the main goal is to pilot the designed PrevInf Model and Simulation Scenarios using an agile approach. The purpose of the Quality Plan WP (4), Piloting of the PrevInf Model, is to assure that the results of the project have a beneficial impact on the development of the nursing curriculum. The Dissemination and Exploitation WP (5) will raise awareness of the positive impact that the use of the PrevInf Model will have in the nursing curricula in Asian HEIs, through the development of students' competences related to HAIs prevention and control. The Management WP (6) will assure that the work in other WP runs smoothly and that any issues or conflicts that arise during the execution of the project are solved successfully. |
| Partners | Välittömät hyödynsaajat hankkeessa ovat terveysalan yliopistojen opettajat saadessaan käyttöönsä uusia ja ajantasaisia opetusmenetelmiä ja oppimateriaaleja. Lisäksi he saavat opastusta ko. menetelmien käyttöön.
Capacity building hankkeessa kohdemaat (tässä Aasian maat) saavat osana hankkeen budjettia myös hankkia joitakin pienlaitteita ja välineitä. Tämä on merkittävä taloudellinen etu ja mahdollisuus saada käyttöön ajantasaista infektioiden torjunnan välineistöä ja oppia niiden oikea käyttö. Toinen välitön hyödynsaajaryhmä ovat kaikkien hankkeeseen osallistuvien maiden terveysalan opiskelijat. He saavat ajantasaista oppia ja motivoituvat opintojensa alusta lähtien infektioiden torjuntaan. Siten voidaan olettaa pysyvää kiinnostusta ja halua infektioiden torjunnan osaamisen kehittämiseen läpi työuran. Välilliset hyödynsaajat tässä projektissa ovat terveydenhuollon asiakkaat ja potilaat. He saavat jatkossa aikaisempaa parempaa ja turvallisempaa hoitoa, kun heitä on hoitamassa ja opastamassa työntekijät, jotka osaavat työssään ehkäistä infektioiden leviämisen. Välillisiä hyödynsaajia ovat myös terveysalan organisaatiot, jotka tuottavat jatkossa aikaisempaa laadukkaampaa hoitoa ja ehkäisevät infektioiden synnystä aiheutuvia taloudellisia ja inhimillisiä lisäkustannuksia. |
