| Description | Entrepreneurs in this Tahko -The destination for every season project are motivated and have done the groundwork for internationalization for a long time by participating in various development projects and improving their operations. Now, they aim to leverage their previous contacts and expertise to jointly test Tahko's appeal in nearby international markets.
The project’s goal is to create new, sustainable joint product packages for Tahko's entrepreneurs, as well as to increase international visibility and sales in selected target markets. Activities will focus on visits to trade fairs, sales events, and meetings with tour operators in the Baltic countries, German-speaking Europe, and Spain, with the objective of attracting new international customer groups to Tahko. At the same time, the project will enhance the international product development, marketing, sales, and communication skills of local entrepreneurs. With the arrival of international visitors, collaboration among Tahko's entrepreneurs will intensify, the area's visibility will improve, operations will become more year-round, and revenue will grow. Tahko’s entrepreneurs also aim to elevate international collaboration to a new level and position themselves nationally and internationally at a more competitive level among travel destinations. This will be achieved by directly contacting tour operators in target areas and producing tailored, ready-made product packages and marketing materials for their customers. Additionally, Tahko’s entrepreneurs will host international pre- and post-tours, which are familiarization trips for tour operators. |
